Position:
An engineering manager that thrives in leading our Central Valley team. This role requires a well-experienced engineer, familiar with success in water and wastewater who is inspired to help shape their visions into projects that make a difference.
This position may be remote with periodic travel required.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 10 years’ experience and interest in water and wastewater engineering.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering or Civil Engineering.
Currently licensed as a Professional Engineer with a requirement of obtaining a California Professional Engineer within one year.
Outstanding technical, managerial, and communication skills.
Job Description:
Expected duties and other essential responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:
Take the lead in shaping impactful engineering projects while guiding a talented team of project managers to deliver innovative, high-quality results.
Champion the growth of engineering staff through offered mentorship and feedback in collaborative duties.
Drive projects forward with the team to keep project schedules and budgets on track.
Orchestrate the flow of multiple projects by strategically assigning a balanced workload.
Build strong relationships with regulatory agencies, subconsultants, stakeholders, and equipment vendors, and engineers, ensuring stakeholders voices are heard and projects run smoothly.
Be a lead for our team, fostering genuine client connections, and forging partnerships that last.
Skills/Abilities:
Knowledge of the standard principles and practices of professional engineering with the following:
Strong technical writing and management skills.
Expertise in hydraulic calculations and understanding of chemical and biological processes related to water and wastewater treatment.
Familiarity with local, state, and federal laws and regulations, including CEQA.
Proficiency with water and wastewater modeling software and Microsoft Office.
Salary: Compensation for the position is commensurate with education, experience, attitude, skills, and references. Range is $185,000-$225,000 per year.
